CLEVELAND, Ohio: YouTube boxer-turned-boxer Jake Paul is determined to get his dream fight against Canelo Alvarez, one of the best fighters in the world right now.
The Mexican is clearly against YouTube boxing, but Paul is adamant that this fight will take place. The powerhouse has stated several times that he wants to fight Canelo Alvarez, one of the biggest names in boxing. In fact, Paul seems to be diligently preparing for this battle.

Jake Paul’s take on the Canelo Alvarez fight
“Canelo showed and said in interviews that he showed interest in this. So I think we’re closer than we think,” Paul said on The MMA Hour.
He added: “It’s strange to even say it now, when three or two years ago I said it, I believed it from day one, but everyone else was saying, ‘Who the hell is this kid?’ Shut this guy up,’ but now it’s very real.”

Jake Paul will return to the ring on December 15th against Andre August, a little-known fighter with a 10-1-1 record who is guaranteed to survive against the YouTuber despite his loss to Tommy Fury in February and following his win over Nate Diaz in August.

Although the four-division champion has said he has other professional ambitions, Jake Paul is determined to take on a big challenge and hasn’t ruled out a fight with Canelo. It is noteworthy that 26-year-old Jake is seven years younger than the Mexican.
“I think the path I’m on now prepares me for the Canelo fight in the future. I even show him that I can fight ten or 12 rounds, I’ve done it with real professional boxers and beat them. So when I beat these guys in the next year or two and continue to raise the level of competition, I think it’s going to be a really interesting fight against Canelo,” Paul added.
