The Internet is fact-checking Paris Hilton after she called the racing event ‘the first ever Formula 1 in Las Vegas’
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Paris Hilton recently attended the Formula 1 race held on the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday. The pop singer recently took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from auto racing.
Paris looked chic at the event, opting for race-appropriate attire including a chic all-black leather outfit and matching leather gloves. However, Paris’ caption sparked backlash as she called the latest racing event “the first ever Formula 1 in Las Vegas.”

She wrote: “So incredible to be part of the first ever Formula 1 in Las Vegas! 😍 Such an incredible time watching history!! 💙✨🏎️ @F1 #LVGP 🔥.”
For those who don’t know, the first ever Formula 1 auto race, the Caesars Palace Grand Prix, took place in 1981 in Las Vegas. It was the fifteenth and final race of the 1981 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Meanwhile, the following year followed the event, which marked the sixteenth and final race of the 1981 FIA Formula One World Championship. However, the 2023 Formula 1 race was the first event in Las Vegas in 41 years.
Social media users took to the comments section and criticized Paris for ruining historical details of Formula One. An Instagram user commented: “This is not ‘the first Formula 1 in Las Vegas.’ We had this at the 1982 Sears Grand Prix.”

Another critic added: “The first race in LV actually took place back in 1981.” Another user said: “Formula 1 first raced in Las Vegas in 1981 and 1982, but I know what you mean.”
Another follower noted: “Most celebrities hang out in the pits. They don’t know anything about this sport.” “This wasn’t the first Formula 1 race they did in Las Vegas in the 80s,” another person added.

Paris Hilton attended a Formula 1 party with a half-empty crowd
Paris Hilton recently attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix party in Las Vegas as a DJ. She allegedly arrived for a DJ set at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas when she looked around the half-empty dance floor.
Paris looked stunning in a colorful custom racing jumpsuit and was seen lifting her sunglasses to survey the half-empty tables of fans cheering as another DJ announced her upcoming performance.
However, a social media user shared a video of Paris from the event and noted: “Priceless moment when Paris Hilton realizes there is no one at the Formula 1 after party 😂😂😂.”
Paris was trolled in the video, with other Instagram users commenting: “The moment she realized mommy wasn’t cool anymore 😂.” Another user noted: “She made a mistake after the party!!!”

Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the 2023 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix race. Verstappen was penalized by five seconds for pushing another driver off the track.
However, despite the obstacles thrown his way throughout the race, Verstappen took his 19th win of the season at the Las Vegas Street Circuit.
Verstappen finished ahead of Leclerc and Sergio Perez. The Las Vegas Grand Prix was another racing event where Verstappen snatched victory from Poland’s Charles Leclerc.

Paris Hilton will join Demi Lovato for her special holiday concert
Paris Hilton is all set to join her close friend Demi Lovato for her holiday concert special in December. The event is expected to be a star-studded affair as Lovato will host a show called “Demi’s Special Holiday.”
In addition to Paris, Lovoto’s special holiday concert will be accompanied by RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel, Hailey Bieber, Tiffany Haddish and JoJo.
