Created by Elise Doganieri and Bertram Van Munster, an epic car racing reality series titled The Amazing Race Canada, featuring ten racing teams from around the world, is aired by the CTV Network for viewers to enjoy.
Presented by John Montgomery, the series is well loved by the audience as it has been renewed for nine seasons. Produced by John Brunton and Barbara Bowlby, the series consisted of ninety-nine episodes with a run-time of 60 minutes.

Well, the race has pros and cons, so the team that comes to the pit stop first gets a prize, and the team that comes last is out of the race. The first team to reach the final destination across several legs wins the grand prize of two Chevrolet cars, $250,000 and other sponsored gifts.
There are relationships between competing parties. Teams get six clues including Route Info, Roadblock, Detour, 150 Challenge and Fast Forward. Teams get some obstacles including a U-turn, face-off, pass and one way.
One of the reasons The Amazing Race Canada is a reality series is that it has nice twists for viewers. The ninth season of the reality series brought a new twist to the audience, which was the choice of Assist, which allowed teams to perform a portion of the chosen task.
The ninth season of the series stars Gail Kim and Gisele Shaw, friends Ally Sellers and Eddie Pernius, Shayla Stonechild and Joel Olette, Gracie Lowes and Lily Bateman, Derek and Jaspal, Jermaine and Justin, friends Ben and Anwar, friends Deven and Amanda, Ty And Kat, and Tyler and Kayleen.

The Amazing Race Canada Season 9 Episode 9 Recap
In the previous episode titled “Light the Candle”, the teams were instructed to travel to Toronto for the start of the leg. Teams had to first fly into Montreal, and then find a marked Via Rail counter located at Montreal Central Station to get train tickets to Union Station.
Teams will then travel to the Toronto Stock Exchange and wait for the opening bell to receive their next clue from John. The episode begins with the remaining four teams starting the race, with Zone describing the next steps in the race.
Ty and Kat had the chance to depart first as they won the last leg to find the double pass en route to Montreal in the Saguenay region of Quebec. John informed the spectators that two teams would be allowed to alter the course of the race. Tyler and Kaylin are second, with Ben and Anwar a short distance behind.
Tyler and Kaylin team up with Anwar and Ben to defeat Kat and Tyler due to their feeling that they would have a better chance of winning if the good couple were out of the race. The last people to leave for the race were Daven and Amanda, along with Jermaine and Justin. Neither Ty nor Kat are fluent in French so navigating is difficult.
The whole group took the same train to Montreal. Everyone except Justin and Jermaine conspire to get Kat and Ty out of the game. The teams find their next clue hidden in the compartment of the car seats which they have to take to Rio Tinto to read under a power microscope.
After they match the words the teams will get their next clue. Tyler and Kaylin arrive at Rio Tinto first, followed by Deven and Amanda. Teams work under pressure to uncover clues. Ben and Anwar are the last to arrive at the Rio Tinto Research Center.
The teams must then arrive at the University of Quebec and find the Pavillon Parc Technologie, where they must find more snow chambers and recreate a picture in a snow frame. The winning team will receive their next clue from the university professor.
After receiving their next cue, teams must arrive at Saguenay Paintball Karting with one team member suiting up behind the wheel of a go-karting vehicle, while another team member coaches the other team players using a Samsung smartwatch. 1 km track.
After finishing their go-karting race for one minute they will get the next clue. Throughout the race, it is clear that the rest of the team is jealous of Ty and Kat because they are such a great team. Justin and his team partner get the first double pass, and defeating all odds, Ty and Kat come in first place.
Team members will get their next clue after crossing the obstacle course with a perfect pie. Teams will then drive to Park Adventures Cap Jassex, where team members strap themselves into safety gear for a climb and memorize two alphanumeric keys they’ll use to crack the code.
After converting the numbers into alphabets the teams will get their next clue. After several more clues and stops, the teams continue to work their way to reach the destination first. Tyler and Kathleen finished first, followed by Ty and Kat. Jermaine and Justin dropped out of the race after reaching the final destination last.

The upcoming episode titled “Do You Want Some Candies” will see the team members continue to race to make it to the top three so that they can participate in the final race and be eligible to win $250,000. The race will continue in Toronto, with the rest of the team fighting for the final spot in the race.
