Created by Tim Gibbons and Christopher Poole, the series also stars Mary Brown, Cody Brown, Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, Robin Sullivan, Tamron Hall, Sukanya Krishnan and Daniel Tumini. Directed by Tim Gibbons, Ginia Gaudet, and Adama Hirsch, the series follows Cody Brown’s multiple wives and children as they try to navigate and lead a normal life in a society that shuns them and their lifestyles.

Sister Wives Season 18 Episode 4 Recap
The series follows Cody and his polygamous life with multiple wives and children. Earlier episodes in the series saw Cody coming out to a friend who had just gone through a divorce, which made Cody consider giving up on plural marriage.
The episode witnesses Cody reflecting on his actions that have broken up three of his four marriages. Meanwhile, Janelle deals with the aftermath of her feelings after her recent fight with Cody. The family once again celebrates Christmas separately due to fighting among themselves.
The episode witnessed the Browns’ Christmas party with Mary feeling estranged from the family after spending Christmas with Robin and Cody. Although Cody is still married to Janelle, the couple has been fighting, with Cody considering divorce while Janelle spends Christmas with her children instead of spending it with her sister’s wife and Cody.
The episode begins with Cody and Jenelle having a fight, after Jenelle expresses her feelings for Cody, stating that she no longer wants to be married to him. Cody talks to Jenelle about not knowing what to say while Jenelle reveals her feelings for Cody, favoring his other wives and finding a way to get rid of him.
Jenelle thinks that Cody doesn’t want to continue as a plural husband, and Cody thinks that the big blow-out fight happened because he was building up infidelity after infidelity in his mind. Both Cody and Janelle continue to speak to the camera, expressing their feelings regarding the fight. The scene shifts to the kids and Mei talking about being stuck in the middle.
Cody seeks advice from Nathan and his friends on how divorce works with multiple wives. Jenelle continues to share allegations that she was blindsided by her argument with Cody. Jenelle is also worried about her finances because her money is tied up with Cody.
Jenelle decides to embrace Christmas by spending time with her kids after her fight with Cody. A family spends time with each other in a rented apartment. Janelle tells her kid about her fight with Cody before Christmas.
Meanwhile, happy couple Robin and Cody spend Christmas at home with their children, but they feel the pressure of not having their family members. Robin and Cody leave the family and try to divert their attention from Christine. After several heated discussions and the family sharing their feelings for each other, the episode ends with Robin and Cody celebrating Christmas at their house.

The upcoming episode titled “When The Going Get Tough” will see the Browns discuss and speculate on the events of Christmas. Meanwhile, Janelle will be seen confessing her feelings to Christine as she feels that nothing can be done to save her marriage to Cody.
Cody and Mary discuss the reasons for the breakup of their marriage and the pair come to an agreement that the main reason behind the split was Cody not spending enough time with his other wives.
