CLEVELAND, Ohio: After winning the United States Championship after defeating Rey Mysterio at WWE’s Crown Jewel in early November, Logan Paul reflected on winning the title and what it means to him.
On a recent episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul spoke at length about winning the WWE United States Championship. Paul responded candidly, talking about what winning the title meant to him.

For the unversed, after winning the title, Paul posted several photos of himself sleeping with the championship belt, training with it, and even showering with it.
Logan Paul spoke candidly about his victory over Rey Mysterio
During his podcast, The Maverick said: “I wasn’t a fan of WWE. I was a casual fan and always had a lot of respect for the sport; I always thought it was cool; Growing up, I had my favorite wrestlers.”
He added: “I didn’t watch Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smack Down every day like some people do now. But they asked me what this belt means? What exactly? Even for me, when I was the underdog, I don’t think I really understood what that belt meant.”

“Now that I’m in the industry and learning from my peers around me, I have such respect for the art of wrestling because it is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s much more difficult than boxing,” he explained.
“I think boxing is about dealing with stress. Because hard work is natural for boxers, but it causes stress and a lot of pressure. If you know how to cope well with stress, and I can, then it will be much more difficult to fight, because this is a 360-degree audience. There are so many things about this sport that make it extremely difficult,” he said.

Paul continued: “People ask me, what’s so special about the belt? What does it mean? For me it is a symbol of achievement and trust in human craft. WWE doesn’t just give this belt to someone. They are the ones who trust you with their public company.”
The 28-year-old said: “It’s a big deal that they put a brand on you and are willing to say, ‘You’re important enough and you’ve done enough damage in our company for us to dump one of our pieces on you.’

In the same podcast episode, Logan Paul said: “Even when I was a kid, I imagined a future so bright that I didn’t even know it was possible, and suddenly, one day, I found myself in Saudi Arabia performing in front of 10,000 people.” people and millions at home, holding the United States.
