Jessa shares about the heartbreaking loss

In February, Jessa, known from the show “19 Kids and Counting,” and her husband, Ben, got married in November 2014. Jessa revealed on her YouTube channel that they had experienced a miscarriage. Jessa, 30, described the harrowing moment when they were in hospital together. The loss of their fifth child was said to hold hands in tears, struggling to cope with the grief.

Jessa said she never expected how heavy those words would feel at that moment. He also said that he was completely shocked at the time. He could find no words; She immediately started crying.

When Jessa found out during a check-up that her unborn baby was unwell, she had to go to the hospital. At the hospital, she had a medical procedure called dilation and curettage to remove the baby from her womb. Jessa shares her belief that miscarriages can take people by surprise because there are often no obvious signs that something is wrong with the pregnancy.

She and Ben, who is a reality TV star, have four adorable children: Spurgeon, age 7, Henry, age 6, Ivy, age 4; and Fern, who is now 2 years old. In February 2021, Jessa and Ben released a joint statement, expressing their joy at expecting another child after a difficult loss the previous year.
