Hank Williams Jr. and his fiancee are married! Recently, after announcing their engagement, the 44-year-old country singer and Brandy tied the knot in a small and private ceremony in Alabama on Saturday, as stated in an announcement on his official Facebook page.

The statement read, “Please congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Hank William Jr.!” It noted that Hank and Brandi were married on September 9, 2023 in a small gathering of family and friends at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama.

Although the couple announced their wedding plans, the statement noted that Williams proposed on Mother’s Day in May. It also noted that Hank and 43-year-old Brandi are friends and have known each other since 2003.

Hank Williams Jr.’s happy announcement comes a year and a half after the death of his wife, Mary Jane Thomas, who died in March 2022 due to complications from surgery. They were married for 32 years.

Although the “Family Tradition” singer has kept his relationship with Brandy relatively private, he did share a photo of them on Instagram in January. The photo showed them hunting together and was captioned, “Sweethearts, Hank and Brandy”.

On July 4th, he posted a photo of his wife-to-be proudly displaying her catch during a fishing trip.

Their engagement was made public on September 4th via a Facebook post on his Pure Hank radio show page. The post’s caption read, “Newly engaged exotic country music and southern rock legend Hank William Jr. with his beautiful and beautiful fiancee Brandi.” The post included a happy photo of the couple.

How did Hank’s late wife Mary Jane Thomas die?

In April 2022, William paid tribute to his late wife Mary Jane Thomasby, saying that her warm and loving spirit lives on in the hearts of their son, Sam, as well as their grandsons, Beau and Tennyson, and granddaughter, Audrey Jane.
