Hank Williams Jr. and his fiancee are married! Recently, after announcing their engagement, the 44-year-old country singer and Brandy tied the knot in a small and private ceremony in Alabama on Saturday, as stated in an announcement on his official Facebook page.
The statement read, “Please congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Hank William Jr.!” It noted that Hank and Brandi were married on September 9, 2023 in a small gathering of family and friends at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama.

Hank and Brandi’s relationship
Hank Williams Jr.’s happy announcement comes a year and a half after the death of his wife, Mary Jane Thomas, who died in March 2022 due to complications from surgery. They were married for 32 years.
Although the “Family Tradition” singer has kept his relationship with Brandy relatively private, he did share a photo of them on Instagram in January. The photo showed them hunting together and was captioned, “Sweethearts, Hank and Brandy”.
On July 4th, he posted a photo of his wife-to-be proudly displaying her catch during a fishing trip.

How did Hank’s late wife Mary Jane Thomas die?
In April 2022, William paid tribute to his late wife Mary Jane Thomasby, saying that her warm and loving spirit lives on in the hearts of their son, Sam, as well as their grandsons, Beau and Tennyson, and granddaughter, Audrey Jane. He also mentioned that he will be forever missed and loved by many people.
Thomas, who was 58, died of a collapsed lung due to complications from surgery. The information comes from a Palm Beach County medical examiner’s report and an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE.
She and Williams had a son, Sam, who is now 26 years old, and a daughter, Catherine, who tragically died in a car accident in June 2020, aged 27.
Before his marriage to Mary Jane Thomas, Williams had two previous marriages. His first marriage was to Gwen Yeargain, which lasted from 1971 to 1977. After that, he was married to Becky White from 1977 to 1983.

Who is Hank William Jr.?
Randall Hank Williams is an American songwriter and musician known professionally as Hank Williams Jr. or Bocephus. His music combines elements of rock, blues and country.
He is the son of famed country musician Hank Williams and the father of musicians Holly Williams and Hank Williams III. Additionally, he is the grandfather of Coleman Williams and shares a half-sibling relationship with Jett Williams.
Williams’ musical style gradually evolved as he was challenged to find his own unique sound within the country music genre.
However, his journey was interrupted by a near-fatal accident on August 8, 1975, when he fell while climbing Ajax Peak in Montana. After a long and difficult recovery, he successfully revived his career in the country rock genre.
