Buddy Games: The Premise
With the show’s first season set to release soon, fans have raised several questions regarding the show’s plot. Here, we will have a total of six teams, each with four friends, who will play and participate in unique mental and physical games and challenges. The show takes inspiration from the childhood of Josh Duhamel, who is also the host of the show.
During the filming of the show, six groups will be placed in a lake house where they will bunk and live together. So, basically, the premise of the show is very similar to all our childhood fantasies, which involve staying in the same house with our best friends and playing all kinds of games all day long.
These friends on the show have apparently been friends for a large part of their lives, and the one thing they all share is a common summer camp experience. Gone are the days when these grown-up friends could attend summer camps, but this show would be a great way to relive that part of their lives, indulging in childish rivalries and futile fights.
The six teams that will participate in the show are Philly Forever, Pageant Queens, Team OK, Team Pride, Chicago’s Finest and the Derby Squad. Like other game shows, this one also has a prize at the end to keep the teams motivated.
The last standing team will receive the Buddy Games trophy, a prize that no team wants to lose, and a cash prize, which the winning team can split equally among themselves. Oh, the winning team will also get to rub their victory garland in the face of the losing team, that’s a joy.

The first episode of the show’s first season, Buddy Games, is all set to release to fans on Thursday, 14th September 2023.
