Austin Swift has appeared in several Hollywood films and TV series.
Swift’s younger brother, Austin, was born on March 11, 1992, in West Reading, Pennsylvania, to Andrea and Scott Swift.
He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015, where he studied film and acted in plays such as Dead Man’s Cell Phone and Six Characters in Search of an Author.
Austin reportedly transferred to Vanderbilt University but eventually returned to the University of Notre Dame to complete his studies. He then interned at Lionsgate, where his responsibilities included creating and sending out reviewers.
He made his film debut in the 2016 thriller It, starring Pierce Brosnan, and went on to star in films such as Live by Night, Whales to Stop and the Marc Meyers horror thriller We Summon the Dark.
Austin also starred in Megyn Kelly’s political drama Inserts, Todd Berger’s Cover Versions, and sitcoms such as Still the King.

Speaking about his acting journey, Austin once said: “I’m pretty reserved most of the time, so [acting] it never seemed like it would fit. But I kind of got into it and realized it could be an opportunity to get creative,” reports The Things.
While Austin’s last acting role was We Summon the Darkness in 2019, he also decided to work as a producer on the film before producing his pop star sister.
The 31-year-old produced Swift’s “I Bet You’re Thinking About Me (Taylor’s Version)” music video, in which he collaborated with his older sister and actress Blake Lively.
The video even earned Austin his first ACM award in 2022, along with Swift and Lively in the Video of the Year category.
Austin was also listed as an executive producer on Swift’s Disney+ documentary Folklore: The Long Pond Sessions.

A look at Austin Swift’s close relationship with sister Taylor Swift
It has long been known that Swift maintains a close bond with her younger brother Austin.
While Swift’s siblings spent the early years of their lives in Pennsylvania, Austin moved with his family to Nashville to support Swift’s music career.
Speaking to People about Swift’s musical start, the proud brother once said: “When we were kids, I saw Taylor writing songs every day for years when there was no one to play them.”
He also recalled that when Swift was in high school, he spent spring break in Nashville “watching her go door to door handing out demo CDs to labels that never called.”
Although Swift is one of the biggest music artists in the world today, Austin “was there when she performed at karaoke competitions and parties with the same enthusiasm that she now performs in stadiums full of her fans.”
“Seeing that example made me realize how much it took, how long it took… It will always be the core of who I am and who I want to be,” he told People magazine in 2016.
Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2017, Austin spoke about how much he has always admired Swift’s talent and work. “She found singing and I knew from the beginning that was her direction. She was never going to give up; it was her business, it was her life. . . and I was always a little bit, you know, doing this,” he said.
Back in 2016, Austin even took to Instagram to share a video of himself throwing Yeezy merchandise in the trash following the release of Kanye West’s infamous diss track “Famous.”

As Austin has continued to support Swift over the years, attending high-profile events and award shows with the pop star, the “BlankSpace” hitmaker has also made an equal effort to support her brother.
“It’s National Siblings Day! My brother Austin Swift is one of my best friends and I’m very proud of him because he’s in a movie that came out today called We Summon the Darkness (which he also co-produced). Photo by Gigi. My facial expression from three glasses of wine. #nationalsiblingsday,” Swift wrote in a 2020 Facebook post.
According to The List, Austin allegedly even unfollowed Joe Alwyn on Instagram after the latter’s six-year relationship with Swift came to an end earlier this year.
However, Austin already accompanied Swift to watch her new flame Kelsey play on the field last month.
