Expedition X Season 6 Episode 7: Release Date, Preview and Recap
Discovery’s documentary series, Expedition X Season 6, bringing episode 7 this week. Jess and Phil will explore a notorious paranormal hub in Utah this time. Last week’s Hellfire Club raid revealed some of the spine-chilling activities the secretive club was a part of.
Broadcasting on Discovery February 2020, Expedition X is a documentary that explores everything from UFOs to ghosts. Josh Gates, Jessica Chobot, and Phil Torres are always ready to explore something that borders on the supernatural.
While Josh is the mastermind behind unearthing unknown myths and legends, it’s Phil and Jessica who travel to different parts of the world to carry out exciting but unsettling quests.
With the 6th season of Expedition X airing since August of this year, the brave explorers have been able to show a haunted mental hospital in Detroit, a swamp in New Orleans inhabited by a monster and a place that is home to witches in Mexico.
Expedition X Season 6 Episode 6: Recap
In Expedition X Season 6 Episode 6, Phil and Jess have one of the scariest times of their lives while in the UK. For this episode, the location Phil and Jess were exploring was the 18th century society hideout/meeting area, the Hellfire Club.
Notorious for its devil-worshipping practices, the Hellfire Club was one of the most well-known secret societies of the 18th century. Their main meeting place was in Dublin, and Sinead Houlihan, already familiar with the paranormal experiences there, guided Phil and Jess to the lodge.
As Phil and Jess explore the upper floors of the hunting lodge, they are suddenly disturbed by the sound of metal clinking. What made this Dublin lodge so scary was that the Hellfire Club was full of blasphemy and even sacrificed an innocent maid to the devil.
Phil then heads downstairs to prepare the fog machine, which will help him visualize the air inside the lodge. Meanwhile, Jess sets up an IR camera and a REM-POD He uses the REM-POD to try to talk to any spirits that may be in the room with him, and it seems to detect an unknown presence.
The next morning, Jess and Phil head back to Dublin to learn more about this terrifying hellfire club through expert David Ryan. David lets them know about a place in England that was also a branch of the Hellfire Club.
They then went to Dashwood Cemetery in England, as it belonged to a member of the Hellfire Club. Beneath this mausoleum was the Hellfire Cave, where major rituals took place. Both Phil and Jess feel uncomfortable all the time in this hidden, dark and cold passage.
