The 33-year-old singer recently resumed her South American tour on Sunday night, November 19, after unexpectedly canceling the day before. The “Blank Space” singer canceled her Saturday performance due to what she called “extreme heat” in the city.

Additionally, the decision to move the show follows a tragic incident that deeply affected Taylor and her fan community. The Grammy winner said the fan, 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado, died after feeling ill in the audience before Friday’s concert.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but it is with a broken heart that I say we lost a fan before my show tonight,” Taylor wrote. She added: “I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. I have very little information other than the fact that she was incredibly beautiful and too young.”
