Dolly Parton opens up about her beauty routine before bed and says she doesn’t like going to bed ‘looking like a witch’
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Dolly Parton is opening up about her nightly beauty routine and the beauty treatments she’s had over the years.
During her debut on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” the country singer, who appeared in a lime green outfit with long red nails and platinum blonde hair, also talked about her latest album, “Rockstar,” and the release of her new book. Behind the seams: My life in rhinestones.”

Dolly Parton advises ‘finding the best doctors’ for plastic surgery
Parton said about her approach to cosmetic procedures: “I always say, ‘Just find the best doctors.’
“You just have to be really careful not to overdo it because you never know, any time you go under the knife you might not look very good,” she added.

“I try to do a little bit – I don’t like really big things. I do fillers, Botox… only when I need to do something else, and even then I try to be careful,” said the 77-year-old singer.

Dolly Parton reveals she started sleeping with makeup on
In her recently released book, Parton revealed that her bedtime routine includes a full face of makeup.
“I started sleeping with makeup on, partly because of the earthquakes. I thought, “I won’t go out without makeup, in case there are cameras!” I’ll be ready to go!’” the songwriter said of her daily routine, which she began in the 1980s after arriving in Los Angeles.

The “Those Were the Days” singer then revealed the reason why she continues her beauty routine before bed.
“I don’t want to go to bed with Carl looking like a witch,” she said, referring to her husband Carl Dean.
Dolly Parton reveals she owns hundreds of wigs
Saying that her husband of 50 years, Dean, doesn’t like her wigs, the “The Twelfth of Never” singer said she owns hundreds of wigs. Parton said her wigs are “all big and sexy.”

“When I wear my hair too stiff, I say, ‘You don’t like my hair?’ And he said, “Well, this seems too important.” There’s a certain look that feels important,” she told ET.
When Parton was asked how many wigs she has, the singer said, “Someone once asked me, ‘How many wigs do you have?’ I said, “Well, I must have at least a 365 because I wear them almost every day.”
