What did the research reveal?
In the study, experts analyzed the nutritional value of joha rice. According to researchers, two unsaturated fatty acids found in rice namely linoleic acid (omega-6) and linolenic (omega-3) acid are beneficial for our health. Studies have also shown that joha rice has a higher balance of omega-6 than other rice varieties. This rice is used to make rice bran oil. It is considered very beneficial for diabetes management.
