The new season of the series focuses on a group of miners and their adventure to find gold in the depths of the Bering Sea. The series begins with Chris McCulley, a young mining gangster, challenging the dominance of Mr. Gold.
Smart boys Chris and Andy are prospects while Don Vernon suffers from some health problems. The first episode sees Jay building a beautiful palace on ice while a pregnant Emily puts Jane in charge of running the operation.

Jane does her best to find some gold in the absence of Emily and a diver with no swimming talent. In the fifth episode Chris finds himself stranded on ice when Sean hits a mysterious dry spell on his quest for gold.
Kelly’s equipment starts up but experiences electrical problems. Meanwhile, Zeke and his crew are tangled in a tether, and Vernon discovers that two divers are better than one. In the sixth episode Kelly uncovers their mysterious gold mining weapon.
Meanwhile, Chris’s hot paystreak continues to make waves. After a frightening close call with death, Jake is forced to adjust his strategy. Jane and her crew head down when Sean C discovers a hidden treasure beneath the bearings.
