Bering Sea Gold Season 16 Recap
The new season of the series focuses on a group of miners and their adventure to find gold in the depths of the Bering Sea. The series begins with Chris McCulley, a young mining gangster, challenging the dominance of Mr. Gold.
Smart boys Chris and Andy are prospects while Don Vernon suffers from some health problems. The first episode sees Jay building a beautiful palace on ice while a pregnant Emily puts Jane in charge of running the operation.
The second episode witnessed Chris and Sean’s innovative mining techniques for their hard work. Chris is once again behind in the gold count after his crew gets drunk. Emily’s crew makes a shocking discovery as to why no gold is seen in the box.
Meanwhile, in episode three, viewers see Chris as a constant threat to Mr. Gold’s dominance. Vernon and his crew are plagued by accidents during their expedition to search for gold. Meanwhile, Kelly and his crew wait for a piece of gold mining equipment to arrive.
The third episode also saw Shawn compete in Nome’s biggest snowmobile race. The fourth episode saw Shawn and Jay risk everything for a dangerous ice mission in hopes of a big payday.
Meanwhile, Chris’, magical gold mining equipment arrives, but it requires some assembly before it works.
Jane does her best to find some gold in the absence of Emily and a diver with no swimming talent. In the fifth episode Chris finds himself stranded on ice when Sean hits a mysterious dry spell on his quest for gold.
Kelly’s equipment starts up but experiences electrical problems. Meanwhile, Zeke and his crew are tangled in a tether, and Vernon discovers that two divers are better than one. In the sixth episode Kelly uncovers their mysterious gold mining weapon.
Meanwhile, Chris’s hot paystreak continues to make waves. After a frightening close call with death, Jake is forced to adjust his strategy. Jane and her crew head down when Sean C discovers a hidden treasure beneath the bearings.
