An Omaha teen is accused of killing Clayton McCue, who allegedly stabbed him in the neck.
OMAHA, NEBRASKA: Christopher DeLong Jr., a teenager accused of murder, will be tried as an adult. An Omaha, Nebraska court has set a hearing for Dec. 20 to try the second-degree murder charge.
16-year-old Clayton McCue was brutally stabbed to death, WOWT reports. The victim’s father said the fight started near Clayton’s girlfriend’s house. The teenager was attacked, kicked and stabbed in the neck, the outlet reported.

Prosecutors are pushing to bring other related charges.
Other media reports suggested that Clayton had also been stabbed in the head or suffered severe head trauma on November 8th.
The defendant was initially charged with first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
DeLong, who turned 16 on Nov. 17, is being held on $500,000 bail. According to police, on November 8, he stabbed the teenager in the head with a knife in the area of South 182nd Avenue and Jefferson Street, between Q and Harrison streets.
The funding page was opened by his well-wisher Venessa Heineman.
Venessa wrote on her page: “Clayton’s life was taken from us on November 8, 2023 after he was brutally beaten and killed. I’m starting a GoFundMe for funeral, medical and emotional support.”

School stabbing caught on camera

In an unrelated incident, a 17-year-old student was caught on camera stabbing his 18-year-old classmate in the arm and back during a serious argument between the two teenagers.
It was reported from a high school in upstate New York before being stopped by brave teachers. The incident was recorded from a distance by students at Proctor High School.
The male teacher is seen approaching them before taking the knife from the attacker. “You are crazy?” he asked. The victim can be heard telling the male employee: “He just beat the crap out of my hands.”
A male employee signals another employee to join, informing the colleague that the attacker is holding a knife.
Three employees were seen trying to separate the two, but one of the employees pushed the victim to the ground while the attacker stood his ground, reports .
After an investigation, police charged the 18-year-old with attempted first-degree assault, a class C felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Daily Sentinel.
